Pharmore Meets with Sichuan Government

With the increasing instances of product contamination originating in China , companies on both sides of the ocean are becoming increasing concerned with Chinese sourced material. Because of the growing lack of confidence in imported materials, Pharmore Ingredient's Vice President of Quality Assurance, Warren Majerus met with Chinese officials to offer his expertise to help companies demonstrate their product quality.

In July Majerus met with Liang Jin, Chief, and Wu Xiaoling, Vice-Director of The Sichuan Science and Technology Dept, Sichuan Province , China . The meeting was arranged by Wu Xu, PhD., with the State of Utah Dept of Health.

The purpose of the meeting was to explore ways that Pharmore's expertise in quality assurance could help Sichuan Province dietary ingredient suppliers demonstrate their compliance with US regulations. By documenting their commitment to quality assurance, US customers will have a higher level of confidence that imported ingredients were safe and manufactured under GMP compliant conditions. There are more than 90 ingredient companies in Sichuan Province that could benefit from a GMP compliance program based on Pharmore's six plus years of experience with raw material manufacturing quality programs.
